Overdraft Line of Credit

You may qualify for an Overdraft Line of Credit that will automatically cover your eChecking Account. If you write a check that exceeds the available balance in your Checking Account, the Overdraft LOC will automatically transfer to your eChecking Account in $100.00 increments to cover the amount of the check.

A check is the only way to access the Overdraft LOC. It will not protect ATM or other electronic transactions. An Overdraft LOC balance will have minimum monthly payments of $50.00, or you may pay it off at any time.

Convenience Services

Along with the features mentioned, eChecking offers these added benefits:

Online Check Reordering

  • To reorder, simply click Reorder Checks under Products and Services

Overdraft Protection

  • If you don't have enough in your Checking Account to cover a check, funds will automatically transfer from your Savings or any other account you designate

Payment Systems

Apple Pay

Get started with JMAFCU and Apple Pay

Add your JMAFCU Visa CheckCard and/or credit card using your iPhone or iPad. Open the Wallet app on your device, swipe down and tap the plus sign to add your card(s).

Easy. Secure. Private.

Making payments with Apple Pay is easy. The entire transaction is secure, as your credit and debit card numbers aren't stored on the device or on Apple® servers, so they're never shared with the merchant. And, if your iPhone is ever lost or stolen, just use the "Find My iPhone" feature to disable your wallet.

Samsung Pay

Download the Samsung Pay app and sign in with your Samsung account if you haven't downloaded it already. The app will prompt you to register a PIN, fingerprint or iris scan if you don't already have it set up. You can now add your JMAFCU Visa® CheckCard and/or credit card, as well as any of your other credit, debit, gift or membership cards by scanning it with the camera. You'll also have the option to add your PayPal account as well.

Check that the number, name and expiration date from the scanned cards are all correct. Samsung Pay will verify a credit or debit card with your financial institution, and you'll have the option to get an SMS, email or make a phone call to confirm.

A total of 10 cards can be added to Samsung Pay.

Google Pay

As an Android™* user, you can now pay with your phone at more than 1 million stores across the U.S. Google Pay™ is a new mobile payment solution that offers JMAFCU Visa CheckCard and credit card holders further simplicity, security and choice when paying for things every day.

To add your JMAFCU Visa CheckCard or credit cards to Google Pay:

Download the Google Pay app and open it.

Take a photo of your card.

You're done!

Making payments is safe when you use Google Pay, thanks to tokenization, the industry standard for secure payments. Your card number isn't stored on your phone or given to the merchant with your payment. Instead, Google Pay uses a virtual account number to represent your account information–providing an extra layer of security.

Using your mobile device to pay is that simple. When you’re ready to pay, unlock your phone as usual and hold it over the merchant’s contactless payment terminal.
